A twelve wheelers truck of Assam, bearing number AS- 01DD3707 has been sieged here in Chechua vehicle check post under Ampinagar PS last night at about 10:30 pm. As per the report, the police has recovered 150 kg of dry ganja from this truck. The truck including the illicit narcotic product have been brought to Ampi PS. The whole quantity of the recovered ganja has been sent to NDPS authority. Police said that during the checking time the driver and his codriver have escaped from the spot leaving the vehicle. An NDPS case has been registered in connection with this incident vide-Ampi PS case No- 2023OMP001 date-21/02/2023. As per the latest report of police nobody has been arrested till now connected with this narcotic smuggling case. The police is searching the criminals who are associated with this narcotic smuggling case.
