Agartala, 4th of February, 2024 : With the initiative of Kalyan Samiti Club Annual Blood Donation Camp and Sishu Utsav has been organized at Club premises, Bordowali, Agartala on Sunday (4th February, 2024). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated the Annual Blood Donation Camp and Sishu Utsav by lighting the lamp.
“Children are the future of the country. Every child has latent talent. Parents need to lay special emphasis on getting the best education for children to develop their talents. Shishu Utsav plays an important role in developing latent talents of children”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inaugural ceremony of the Annual Blood Donation Camp and Sishu Utsav. The chief minister said on the occasion, children need to be exposed to the rich history of our country. Along with studies, children should be encouraged in cultural and sports from childhood. As a result, children’s mental development and excellence will increase. The Chief Minister said that some unfulfilled childhood dreams of parents try to be realized through their children. But it should not be traditional. In this case, parents need to pay special attention to the children getting the best education.
The Chief Minister also added that now there have been many changes in the club culture. Women are also playing an important role in building a healthy society through various social activities of the club. The club also plays an important role in solving local problems in the area. Clubs are playing an important role in solving various problems including domestic issues, land related issues in the area. The Chief Minister said that no other donation is given on top of blood donation. As a result of blood donation, a strange feeling is observed between the blood donor and the blood recipient.
Shyamal Kumar Deb, Secretary of Kalyan Samiti Club delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Corporator Abhijit Mallik, Corporator Sampa Sarkar Chowdhury, Maharaj of Gorakhnath Ashram Yogi Rohatas Nath and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
