With the initiative of Tripura Sports Journalists Club organized Annual General Meeting & Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at Agartala Press Club on Saturday (17th June 2023). Tripura Sports Journalists Club felicitated the successful veteran sports persons of the state at its annual Prize Distribution ceremony.
Aradhya Das and Anabil Goshami in Chess, Abhigya Bardhan and Arindam Barman in Cricket, Mounali Kar and Sriparna Debnath in Gymnastics, Amal Kumar Ghosh and Amardeep Debbarma in Weightlifting and Shefali Bardhan in Athletics were felicitated in an afternoon function at the Agartala Press Club. Apart from this, Life Time Achievement Award is a sports was given to Kamal Saha, former famous player and organizer of the state. Tripura Cricket Association coach Lance Klusener of former Cricketer of South Africa was given a special welcome at the event. Earlier, the annual general meeting was held at the Tripura Sports Journalists Club in the morning section.
