Art Competition Held In Dharmanagar Ahead Of Independence Day.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 10th of August, 2026 : Ahead of Independence Day, a special art competition was organized in Dharmanagar with the aim of nurturing the creative talents of children and adolescents. The competition was jointly organized by the Dharmanagar branch of Lions Club International and SHE RISE on Sunday (9th August, 2026) at the Vivekananda Shardhya Satabarshiki Bhavan in Dharmanagar.

.The central theme of the competition was “Independence Day.” Focusing on patriotism, the spirit of freedom, and India’s diverse cultural heritage, participants expressed their imagination and creativity through paintings. The venue came alive with the enthusiasm and excitement of participants from different age groups.

According to the organizers, the initiative was aimed at encouraging children to take an interest in art, developing their creative talents, and creating awareness about the significance of Independence Day. Necessary support was also extended by the organizers to encourage the participants.The organizers believe that such creative initiatives ahead of Independence Day will play an important role in fostering patriotism and artistic expression among the younger generation.
