Manipur, 27th of May, 2024 : Assam Rifles on 26 May 2024, conducted a health and Wellness Camp for the locals at Phaitol and Bidyanagar in Jiribam, Manipur. The camp was organised in a holistic manner to encompass, critical medical investigations like Anaemia Detection and Cardiac Screening including ECG, so as to identify and treat major health issues amongst the locals, besides routine treatment.
The event commenced at both the locations simultaneously with local villagers, including women and children arriving the camp from morning only. A total strength of almost 200 villagers including 90 women and 40 children were screened for various ailments and medicines were distributed to them.
Riflewomen were also employed with female para medical staff. The camp went on till late afternoon and the locals were extremely overjoyed with the assistance provided by Assam Rifles, as well as the care and compassion resonated by each and every person conducting them.
