Agartala, Tripura, 2nd of June 2026 : Assam Rifles successfully conducted a Self-Defence Capsule Course for 80 students including 50 Girls & 30 Boys of Ambedkar College, Fatikroy, Tripura from 18 May to 01 Jun 2026. The initiative was aimed at empowering the youth through practical self-defence training, physical fitness, discipline and personality development.
During the two-week capsule, students received intensive training in Krav Maga techniques, situational awareness, threat assessment, personal safety, and effective response mechanisms during emergencies. The participants were also exposed to physical conditioning, confidence-building activities, and teamwork exercises designed to enhance mental resilience and leadership qualities.
The capsule concluded successfully on 01 Jun 2026 with a closing ceremony attended by faculty members of Ambedkar College and representatives of Assam Rifles. A major highlight of the event was an impressive demonstration of Krav Maga techniques by the students, showcasing the self-defence skills and practical responses acquired during the training. The demonstration reflected the enthusiasm, dedication, and proficiency gained by the participants and was highly appreciated by all present.
The successful conduct of the capsule reaffirms the commitment of Assam Rifles towards youth empowerment, community engagement, and the promotion of self-reliance and confidence among the youth of the region.
