Manipur 16th of January 2024 : Assam Rifles realizing the need towards self employment and to help the needy villagers,commenced a two-month tailoring course for women of Nungba, Noney District and will also provide sewing machines to the Village towards the end of the course Under Op Sadbhavana. 32 women of Nungba village have enrolled themselves in the course and a professional instructor has been hired for the complete duration of the course. Assam Rifles will distribute sewing machines upon completion of the course to the participants which will help the women of Nungba village in developing valuable sewing skills which will help to generate employment opportunities for them.
The village authority appreciated the efforts of the Assam Rifles and conveyed their gratitude for the support to the villagers. The project will agur well for the trust of the people in security forces.
