Manipur, 6th of March 2024 : Assam Rifles in a joint campaign, destroyed illegal Poppy cultivation near village Leikot in Nungba sub division of Noney District of Manipur on 05 March 2024.
The joint Operation was launched by the Assam Rifles, Manipur police and Forest Department Officials along with CSOs. The campaign destroyed illegal Poppy plantation in about 3 acres of land.
In the war against drugs this operation conducted by Assam Rifles will curb the illegal activities.
