Tamenglong, Manipur, 5th of August, 2024 : On 4th August 2024, the Assam Rifles organized a Medical Camp at Tatbung Village in the Tamenglong District of Manipur. The primary goal behind this endeavor was to extend medical care and provide necessary medications to the residents of Tatbung and its neighboring villages, especially during the monsoon season.

The medical team comprising of one doctor and medical staff of Assam Rifles, diligently attended to 112 villagers including 50 men, 40 women and 22 children.Comprehensive medical examinations were conducted, and essential medicines were distributed among the attendees. Furthermore, the villagers were educated on preventive measures, and tailored curative treatments were administered based on individual requirements.
The village authorities and the local community members conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to the Assam Rifles for spearheading this Medical Camp. Their unwavering dedication and genuine commitment to supporting the inhabitants of Tamenglong were deeply acknowledged and lauded.
