Agartala, 5th of January 2024 : The amount of the Legislative Area Development Scheme has been increased from ₹ 50 lakh to ₹ 75 lakh. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha announced this in the Assembly Session on Friday (5th January, 2024). The Chief Minister greetings happy New Year and said that a legislator can currently spend up to ₹ 50 lakh rupees in his constituency in the constituency development scheme. At present ₹ 30 crore rupees are being spent on this project. But many people were demanding to increase this amount of money. In view of their request, it has been decided to increase the amount of this project from ₹ 50 lakh to ₹ 75 lakh.
