Amarpur, Tripura, 25th of June 2026 : Under the vigilance of Debdaru O.P two Bangladeshi infiltrators have been nabbed on Wednesday (24th June, 2026) at the Debdaru naka point.

As per the official report, Sentu Debnath, (26) and Smt. Priya Nath (21) who are inhabitants of Chattagram, Bangladesh have entered to Tripura without any valid passport through Suknachari village under Silachari PS, Indo-Bangla border. The O.P officials have checked them and recovered 600 rupees Indian currency notes and two mobile phones consisting Bangladeshi sim cards.
Based on secret input the OC of the O.P Bakuljoy Reang was waiting for the infiltrators at Debdaru naka point and when the indicated bus which was approaching from Silachari to Agartala arrived about 1330 hours at the naka spot the police officials have arrested them. The police has lodged a Suo Motto complaint against them and probably they will be forwarded to the LD Court of Belonia tomorrow. More investigation is going on over the infiltrators.
