Agartala, 16th of February 2024 : With the jointly initiative of Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) and Central Trade unions was called Bharat Bandh on Friday (16th February, 2024). A Nationwide Bharat Bandh was called by KM and Central Trade Unions on 16 February with various demands.
Bharat Bandh was not affected across the State. Schools, Colleges, and Educational institutions in the State are open and vehicles are plying as usual in the roads. Government offices, Banks and markets are also open. Reports from the districts also said that the bandh (Strike) failed to evoke any response and schools, colleges, offices and markets were open.
