Agartala, Tripura, 13th of January, 2025 : With the initiative of Shri Kamakhya Kalapeeth (The Centre for Indian Classical Dances) led by the Indian classical dancer and Guru in Bharatanatyam and Odissi, Dr. Sonal Mansingh, presented classical dance performance, Bhava-Ganga at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala, Tripura on Monday (13th January, 2025) Sponsored by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER).
Dr. Sonal Mansingh is a globally renowned Indian Classical Dancer and the recipient of one of India’s highest civilian honours including the Padma Vibhushan by the Hon’ble President of India. She was honoured with the Srimanta Sankardeva Award. Dr. Sonal Mansingh is a celebrated and distinguished visionary cultural philosopher, Guru, choreographer, motivator, educator and member of the Indian parliament. Dr. Sonal Mansingh is a prominent Indian classical dancer who specialists in Bharatanatyam and Odissi.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu, State Chief Secretary J.K Sinha, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar, Director of Information & Cultural Affairs Department Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, Vice Chairman of the State Cultural Advisory Committee Subrata Chakraborty and many other dignitaries were present in the event.
