Dharmanagar, Tripura, 9th of April, 2026 : Ahead of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) showcased its strength in the Damchhara–Jampui 1 constituency. On Friday, a massive rally was taken out from Damchhara marketarea, which marched across the entire area, creating a wave of enthusiasm among party workers and supporters.
The rally was attended by BJP candidate for the Damchhara–Jampui 1 seat, Rabindra Reang. Also present were Damchhara Sub-Zonal Chairman Tashiram Reang and Panisagar Mandal President Vivekananda Das, along with several other prominent leaders.
According to party sources, more than 6,000 people participated in the rally. The entire Damchhara area echoed with party flags and slogans. A section of local residents believes that this rally reflects BJP’s organizational strength ahead of the upcoming ADC elections.Addressing the gathering after the rally, candidate Rabindra Reang expressed confidence, saying, “This time, BJP will form the government in TTAADC, and in th3 Damchhara –Jampui seat as well, BJP’s victory by a huge margin is certain.” He sought support from voters, highlighting development, infrastructure, and welfare initiatives.With the elections approaching, political activities in the region are intensifying. Various parties are actively demonstrating their strength, and BJP’s massive rally has now become a major point of discussion in political circles.
