Agartala, Tripura, 9th of April, 2026 : Aiming to upcoming ADC election 2026 today in the Halahali–Asharambari constituency, Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha said that if the BJP comes to power in the ADC, the face of the tribal areas will change.

Chief Minister urged everyone to come forward fearlessly and vote in unity on April 12 to ensure BJP’s victory.
Addressing the election rally held at Behalabari, he said that the ADC needs leadership that understands the problems of the poor.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always committed to the development of tribal communities and understands the issues faced by the poor”, the Chief Minister added.
The Chief Minister further said that after the election results are announced on the 17th, the Motha party will no longer be found, as the ground beneath their feet has already slipped.

He added that the BJP is the largest political party, yet he mostly travels by train and car. On the other hand, leaders of the Motha party, who claim to represent the poor, have been using helicopters for election campaigning over the past three to four days. He alleged that this is being done using money looted from the poor.
Issuing a warning, he also said that there is full information about where the funding is coming from.
