Amarpur, Tripura, 14th of August 2026 : Under the able leadership and supervision of BJP leaders of Ampi Nagar block a mega Tiranga Rally has been organized here in Ampi Nagar, Amarpur in Gomati Tripura on Thursday (13th August, 2026). On this occasion a large number of BJP leaders, local supporters and school students have assembled here in the programme venue and took active participation in the procession. To promote national integration and patriotism amidst people the rally has marched on Teliamura-Amarpur road in Ampi including market lanes.

As per the report from the leaders, ‘Tiranga rally in India is a public procession where citizens carry the national Tricolour flag to promote national unity, honor freedom fighters, and inspire civic pride and patriotism. These events are prominent during national celebrations like Independence Day under campaigns such as Har Ghar Tiranga, fostering patriotism and reminds citizens of the sacrifices made during India’s freedom struggle. It brings together people from diverse backgrounds, regions, and communities under a single national symbol. It is personalizing the flag; moves the national flag from a purely formal, institutional setting into a personal expression of respect in every household.
Tiranga rally promotes the National Integration; strengthens the bond between citizens and the nation, particularly in sensitive or diverse regions as well as it involves students, NCC cadets, and local youth to instill discipline, social responsibility and civic duty.’ Amidst the distinguished rally participants there were Sadagar Kalai, Ex. MDC, Satya Mohan Jamatia, Ampi mandal president, Shipsonlian Kaipeng, MDC, Shibnath Jamatia, district member, Pintu Bhattacharjee, mandal secretary, Prasanta Saha, district member, Rathindra Jamatia, BJP state secretary and many others remained present in the programme.
