Khowai 25th February 2024 : A fisherman goes to catch fish in Khowai river in Charganaki area under Khowai police station on Sunday (25th February, 2024) about 1 o’clock . As he casts his net in the river to catch fish, a bag comes up instead of fish. He gets the bag and opens it to find numerous documents inside the bag. Immediately he could not understand anything and informed the local residents. Immediately the local residents rushed to see. Bag includes cheques signed by numerous different banks, along with various documents. Local residents immediately informed the Khowai police station. Police from Khowai police station reached the spot and recovered all the cheques and documents and took them to Khowai police station. It is assumed that the real mystery of the incident will come out after the autopsy.
