Gomati, Tripura , 5th of September 2025 : With the initiative of Block Project Coordinator of Ampi Nagar H/S School 64th National Teachers’ Day cum mega felicitation programme 2025 has been conducted here in Ampi Nagar BRC hall in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of dignitaries from education department and administration have assembled here in the programme venue. In presence of many distinguished participants the 41 constituency MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia has inaugurated the event. On this suspicious occasion the concerned organizer has felicitated many retired teachers with award and appreciation certificate. Many schools under Ampi Nagar inspectorate were provided awards for their better academic management. Divyangjans were provided certificate and award for their good results. Addressing the gathering MLA Pathanlal Jamatia has said, “We fell proud for the personality whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day.
Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan dedicated his life to teacher, in the role of a president, an educationalist, an academic and a leader. Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan requested that his birthday should not be observed as a personal celebration, but instead, to be dedicated to honour the teachers of the country.” Amidst the other participants there were Ranjit Debnath, retired director of education, Sadagar Kalai, Ampi MDC, Ruatfela Darlong, Ampi BDO, Sankar Chandra Das, inspector of school, Bisanna Hari Jamatia, retired I.S of Ampi Nagar and many others remained present in the programme.
