Agartala, Tripura, 29th of August, 2024 : In the night intervening 28th Aug & 29th August 2024, on specific information of BSF, one BD national was apprehended in the area of BOP Akhaura Check Post under District West Tripura while he was trying to enter Bangladesh territory by negotiating the border fence. Apprehended person is resident of Narayanganj District of Bangladesh.
In separate operations BSF troops seized 26 kg Ganja from the area of BOP Bamutia under West Tripura District and in the area of BOP Rahimpur under District Sepahijela.
BSF has stepped up domination and operation along the border in Tripura to prevent infiltration/ exfiktration and trans border crime .
