Agartala, Tripura, 24th of October, 2024 : In different operations carried out by the Border Security Force, the troops deployed along the International Border apprehended 02 Indian and 04 Bangladesh nationals from different areas in the state on Thursday.
The BSF troops of Mohanpur under West Tripura apprehended 02 Indian nationals and 03 Bangladeshi nationals while they were trying to enter Indian territory by negotiating the Indo-Bangladesh border fencing using wooden planks. Besides, one Bangladeshi national was apprehended by troops of BOP NC Nagar under Sepahijala district today.
Divulging this information in a press statement, BSF said the troop has stepped up vigilance along the Indo-Bangla border to prevent transborder crime and infiltration.
