Agartala, Tripura, 5th of November, 2024 : 4th Nov 2024, at about 1440 hrs, 03 Indian and 05 BD nationals were apprehended in a joint operation of BSF and PS- Sabroom from Jalkumbha in south Tripura district.
All the three indian nationals were apprehended while crossing the border, are residents of Baikhora, South Tripura district.
All the Bangladeshi nationals are residentd of village jagannath, PS Ramgarh, Khagracheri in Bangladesh.
Preliminary inquiry is going on.
BSF is maintaining a high level of alertness in the international border to prevent infiltration.
