Sabroom, Tripura, 28th February, 2025 : Border Security Force (BSF) Customs and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), seized 100kg Cannabis, two vehicles, in Chutokhil tea garden area , Sabroom on Friday (28th February, 2025). After the two vehicles were seized, a search of the two vehicles revealed that a large quantity of cannabis was found in the Swift Dzire vehicle. The two vehicles were seized and brought to the Subroom Customs Office. The three middle-aged youths, Bapan Namah, Sonamura, Manab Saha of Melaghar, and Abhijit Das, Sonamura were arrested by the BSF and Customs, but the other person in the vehicle managed to escape. Recovered One lakh 48 thousand rupees in cash and three expensive company mobile phones were recovered from the arrested three.
