Agartala, Tripura, 3rd of August, 2024 : In the night intervening 2nd and 3rd August 2024, alert troops of BSF Tripura in various operations foiled attempts of smuggling through Indo-Bangladesh border .
To thwart the attempt of smuggling, adopting non lethal strategy, alert BSF troops fired 3 rounds from Pump Action Gun and also lobbed stun grenades in prevention of trans border crimes.
In separate operations 14 cattle , huge quantity of sugar , cannabis and miscellaneous contraband have been seized .
BSF has intensified operations and domination along the international border to prevent trans border crime .
