Agartala, Tripura, 4th of August, 2024 : In an effort to prevent illegal crossings and Zero Tolerance Policy against infiltration at the Tripura border, the Border Security Force (BSF) has initiated a special drive to stop the infiltration and exfiltration of Bangladeshi nationals.

Acting on a specific information from BSF Intelligence, on August 4, 2024, BSF set up a Mobile Check Post (MCP) jointly with Police in general area of PS Amtali and apprehended one 18-year-old male Bangladeshi National.
BSF has launched an extensive operation to dismantle the network of middlemen operating in and around the border area to completely eliminate illegal crossings from International Border.
