BSF Organized Inter-Sector Badminton Competition

Agartala, 6th of January 2024 : Border Security Force, Tripura organized Inter Sector Badminton Competition w.e.f. 3 Jan 2024 at Agartala. Sh Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, IPS, IG Frontier HQ Tripura was the chief guest of the closing ceremony held on 6th Jan 2024. He handed over trophy to winner and runner and distributed certificate among the participants. Senior officers from the Frontier Tripura were present on the occasion.

Final matches for all the categories were played on 6th Jan, in which all the participants took part with the spirit of the game. Following players were declared winner.-  Men’s Single – SI/SN Siddhalinga, Men’s Double – 1.Shri Mathew Varughese, DIG 2. SI/SN Siddhalinga, Women’s Single – Azmira Khatoon, Team Event-Frontier Head Quarter, Tripura, Overall Champion Frontier Head Quarter, Tripura Player of the tournament Shri Mathew Varughese, DIG. Selected players will further participate in inter frontier Badminton competition 2024. Border Security Force has recognized the need to maintain a proper equilibrium between a healthy mind and healthy body to achieve sustained professional efficiency. Sports not only develop leadership qualities, esprit-de-corps and discipline but also inculcate a sense of unity, cooperation and comradeship. Organizing such type of events will certainly create the atmosphere for sportsmanship and competitiveness among Seema Praharis.
