Agartala, Tripura, 28th of August, 2024 : On the night intervening 27th & 28th August 2024, on specific information BSF troops of BOP Srinagar under South Tripura District intercepted a vehicle in border area and recovered various types of medicines worth Rs 1.04 crore and foreign made cigarettes worth Rs 3 lakhs.
In another operation BSF troops of BOP Bogabil and BOP Belchera under Khowai District rescued 13 cattles and foiled big attempt of transborder smuggling.
BSF has intensified operation and domination on border to thwart attempts of transborder smuggling
