With the initiative of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal of North Tripura district Rashtriya Porakrom Diwas programme has been conducted here in the lecture hall of Dharmanagar Government Degree College in North Tripura. On this occasion a large number of college students and distinguished dignitaries of the concerned college and other participants have assembled in the programme venue. The programme has been observed as a mark of respect of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the national hero of our country.
The Sangha Chalak of North Tripura district Sri Vivekananda Bhattacharjee, (chief guest) has addressed the gathering and said, “The contribution of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as a freedom fighter is immense. All Indians are proud over our great hero who sacrificed his life to give us freedom of our country and its sovereignty. We commemorate this great man with deep respect and dignity through his birth anniversary in every year on 23rd of January.” Sri Srimanto Pal, the president of Tripura state Ekal Abhiyan has graced the occasion as the special guest. Under the able guidance and supervision of Dr. Raghunandan Das, general secretary of BSM, North Tripura district the entire programme has been arranged and beautified. He focused over the sacrifice for the country and enlightened the gathering regarding the great contribution of Netaji in Indian freedom movement as well as how till the date relevance of Netaji for building the nation.
The president of the BSM, North Tripura District, Dr. Sujit Ranjan Das has delivered his presidential address and explained how BSM is contributing in research over Indian heritage and nation building etc. To motivate the college students present in the Porakrom Diwas programme the special guest of the programme has explained how Ekal Abhiyan contributing to the nation building & fulfilling the dreams of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose through advanced organic farming education in the country.
