Byatikram MASDO To Celebrate 98th Birth Anniversary Of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika At Agartala.

 Agartala, Tripura, 6th of September, 2024 : With the initiative of Byatikram MASDO will be celebrate 98th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika in collaboration with the Information and Cultural Affairs Department of the Government of Tripura and News Bengal 365. The event will start at 5 pm on Saturday (7th September, 2024) at the Town Hall of Agartala. To announce the same a press conference has organized at Press club, Agartala on today (6th September, 2024).

‘Bhupen Jayanthi’ will be held at Agartala Town Hall on Saturday from 5 pm on the initiative of Assam social organization Byatikram MASDO with the full cooperation of Tripura Government. Members of the cultural delegation from Guwahati, Kolkata and Barak Valley along with Samar Hazarika, younger brother of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika and eminent music artist, have come to Agartala to attend this event.

Apart from celebrating Bhupen Hazarika’s birthday at Agartala, Sachin Dev Barman’s death anniversary  is also going to celebrate for the first time in Guwahati on October 31. In a press conference at the Agartala Press Club, it was informed on behalf of the Exceptions that their aim is to strengthen the cultural bond between Assam and Tripura.  To strengthen the friendship between Tripura and Assam, Sachinkarta and Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. ‘Sachin Dev Barman is not only from Tripura, but he is the shining star of the music world. Another star of the world of music Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’.

On September 7, the cultural program organized at Agartala Town Hall will be attended by prominent people of the state. The chief minister of the state wished the success of the programme. Organizations like News Bengal 365, ILS Hospital, Head Lines Tripura, 92.7 Big FM etc. have extended their hand in this event with the support of Information and Culture Department of the State Government.

To participate in the event came from Guwahati, Kolkata and Silchar, Bhupen Hazarika’s brother Samar Hazarika, and his family Shobha Hazarika, Dawor Hazarika, Dr. Mausumi Saharia Singer Sanskrita Malakar, Dancer Tanisha Dutta, Singer Jayati Bhattacharya, Singer Pranita Talukdar, Kuwoli Hazarika and Namrata Nath, Dr.SaumenBharatiya, Kaveri Sharma Boruah, Pinky Das, Deepika Malakar, Raju Ali, Indrakshi Dutta, Tarun Chakraborty, Aritra Chakraborty, Joydeep Sanyal, Ashok Chakraborty, Aminul Haque Bhuyan, and others.

President of the Byatikram MASDO Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, said, paying tribute to Bhupen Hazarika and Sachin Dev Barman, we want to further expand cultural communication between the two neighboring states. Sachin Karta’s death anniversary will be celebrated in Guwahati on October 31. Everyone is cordially invited to both events. Bhupen Hazarika’s younger brother Samar Hazarika, who was present at the press conference today, mentioned the spiritual relationship of his brother, Bhupen Hazarika with Tripura. He thanked the Tripura government for its full cooperation in celebrating Bhupen Hazarika’s birthday. He also appreciated the initiative of the exception. According to Samar Hazarika, organizing a program in Guwahati with a great artist like Sachin Dev Barman is also a very commendable initiative. He paid tribute to two great artists.

Headlines Tripura Editor Pranab Sarkar, Tarun Chakraborty, advisor to the Byatikram MASDO representatives of the cultural delegation were also present in the press conference. All expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the recent calamities in the state. They also expressed hope that Tripura will be able to overcome this disaster with the overall efforts of all.
