Agartala, Tripura, 16th of April 2026 : The 13 Tripura Battalion NCC successfully conducted Day 9 of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-33) on 16 April 2026, under the leadership of the Camp Commandant.
The day began with morning Physical Training (PT) followed by breakfast, ensuring fitness, discipline, and readiness among the cadets.
Cadets then attended a Weapon Display session by Assam Rifles, where they gained valuable knowledge about various weapons and their operational use. This was followed by classes on Kish & Hitches and FC & BC training, enhancing their technical and fieldcraft skills.
After lunch and rest (OTW), cadets participated in a Social Service & Community Development session conducted by ANOs, promoting awareness about civic responsibility and community engagement.
In the evening, the much-awaited Final Cultural Programme and Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized, showcasing the talents, creativity, and enthusiasm of the cadets.
The event was graced by the Group Commander, Brigadier Anand Raj Singh , Silchar Group as the Chief Guest, in the presence of the Camp Commandant Col Navpreet Singh Baath and the Administrative Officer, Colonel Roshan Zameer.
The Group Commander delivered an inspiring motivational address, encouraging cadets to uphold discipline, dedication, and patriotism. He appreciated the performance, coordination, and high morale of the cadets and emphasized the role of NCC in shaping responsible citizens and future leaders.
The programme concluded with prize distribution, recognizing outstanding performances in various camp activities and competitions. The event reflected unity, cultural diversity, and strong team spirit among the cadets.
The day concluded with personal hygiene routines, roll call, and dinner, followed by a birthday celebration of cadets, adding joy and camaraderie to the camp environment.
Overall, Day 9 of CATC-33 was conducted successfully with a blend of training, social awareness, and cultural excellence, making it a memorable and motivating experience for all cadets.
