Khowai, Tripura, 10th of August 2025 : With the initiative of Shrestha Bhuban a social welfare organization organized Raksha Bandhan Festival at Jamtila area, East Ganki Gram Panchayat under Khowai Subdivision on Sunday (10th August, 2025). Raksha Bandhan has a special Significance. It is a ritual that celebrates the love and duty between brothers and their sisters.
Addressing at the celebration ceremony of Raksha Bandhan President of Shrestha Bhuban Social Welfare Biplab Kanti Bhowmik said that Raksha Bandhan festival is being organized in the eastern Ganki area of Khowai with the aim of awakening the spirit of brotherhood.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries participants there were President of Shrestha Bhuban Social Welfare Biplab Kanti Bhowmik, East Ganki Gram Panchayat Pradhan Prdip Mukharjee, Social activist Sattya Kumar Debbarma, and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
