Khowai, 3rd April, 2024 : With the initiative of Suranjali Cultural Troup organization Basant festival has been celebrated at Kali Temple (Kali Bari), Khowai on Wednesday (3rd April, 2024). Like every year this year too Suranjali Cultural Troup celebrated the Basant festival today. It is celebrated in beginning of the spring season.
On the auspicious occasion of artists have presented attractive cultural programmes like Art, Dance, Song, Music etc. to beautify the ceremony. A total of 180 artists from various categories participated in today’s event. A large number of people have participated the colourful event with great enthusiasm and excitement.
Chairman of Khowai Municipal Council Debasish Nath Sharma, Village Upapradhan Animesh Nag, President of Suranjali Cultural Troup Siddhartha Sankar Roy, Join president of Suranjali Cultural Troup Siddhartha Benarjee, Social activist Pranab Debnath, others members of Suranjali Cultural Troup and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
