Agartala, 13th of May, 2024 : With the initiative of Bangladesh Assistant High Commission celebrated ‘Baisakhi Milan Festival’ and remembering Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam with a colourful programme in collaboration with Bharat-Bangladesh Maitri Sangsad at Agartala Press Club on Monday (13th May, 2024).

In the presence of many dignitaries Bangladesh High Commission, Assistant High Commissioner Arif Mohammad inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. At the beginning of the event, Bangladesh High Commission, Assistant High Commissioner and the present guests paid floral tributes to Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. The programme started with colorful cultural programmes. Artists performed their traditional cultural programmes on the colourful occasion.

In today’s programme apart from the Bangladesh High Commission, Assistant High Commissioner, Al Amin, First Secretary of Bangladesh High Commission, Dr. Debabrata Roy, President of Bharat-Bangladesh Maitri Sangsad, Jayanta Bhattacharjee, President of Agartala Press Club and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
