Sabroom, Tripura, 1st of December, 2025 : On the auspicious day of Gita Jayanti Mahotsava the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), organized Bhagavad Gita Yagya at Sabroom, Tripura on Monday (1st December, 2025).
Gita Jayanti is the auspicious day of the advent of Srimad Bhagavad-gita. This is the day on which Lord Krishna imparted the essence of Vedic knowledge to Arjuna over 5000 years ago and enlightened him about the ultimate goal of life.
On this auspicious occasion a large number of Gita Jayanti devotees participated in the event.
ISKCON’s acting revered spiritual leaer Satgun Mukunda Das was present as a special guest at the event. On this auspicious occasion, he highlighted the role of religion, morality, and righteous thinking in human life.
“On this auspicious day of Gita Jayanti, the historic moment is remembered when Lord Shri Krishna bestowed the great wisdom of the Gita upon Arjuna during the Kurukshetra war, enabling him to realize righteousness, duty, and the true essence of life.”, said devotees.
