With the initiative of School Education Department Government of Tripura celebrated the Birth Anniversary of poet Sukanta Bhattacharya in collaboration Khowai District Education Department and Office of the Inspector of Schools, Teliamura at Chitrangada Kala Kendra (Teliamura Town Hall), Teliamura on Monday (14th August, 2023). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma has inaugurated the programme. Sources said that the birthday was celebrated in a haphazard manner. Director of Secondary Education Chandni Chandran, teachers, students of different schools and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
