Mumbai, Maharashtra, 16th of October, 2026 : A unique confluence of literature, healthcare and passion came to the fore in Mumbai when renowned author Chetan Bhagat unveiled Dr. Rajneesh Kant’s book, Chiropractor & Physiotherapist. Published by TS Publication, the book is more than just a guide to chiropractic care. It is also an initiative to make the subject simpler, more accessible and easier for the general public to understand.
The event witnessed a particularly engaging moment when Dr. Rajneesh Kant demonstrated an adjustment technique on Chetan Bhagat’s wrist on stage. Following the demonstration, Bhagat spoke about experiencing relief and appreciated Dr. Kant’s technique.
For Dr. Kant, the occasion was much more than a professional achievement. Having spent several years reading the works of an author he deeply admired, sharing the stage with him and having his book unveiled by him was an emotionally significant milestone. Expressing his happiness, Dr. Kant said, “I have been reading Chetan Bhagat’s novels since childhood and have also watched films based on his stories. Sharing the stage with him today and having him unveil my book is a matter of great privilege for me.”
Dr. Rajneesh Kant’s journey is not merely the story of a healthcare professional; it also reflects the idea of turning one’s passion into a life’s purpose. Referring to the popular message of the film 3 Idiots, which encourages people to listen to their hearts and pursue the fields they truly love, he said, “I am happy that I am doing what my heart wants me to do. Pursuing my passion and gaining recognition not only in India but also at the international level gives me immense satisfaction.”
This philosophy also defines the direction of his professional journey. He aims to raise awareness about chiropractic care and help people better understand how the human body functions, the possible causes of pain and the various available treatment options.

One of the most significant aspects of Dr. Rajneesh Kant’s work is his commitment to the vision of a ‘Pain-Free India’. He believes that pain should not necessarily be accepted as an unavoidable part of everyday life. The right information, appropriate clinical assessment and an understanding of treatment options, wherever required, can help people become more informed and proactive about their health.
Expressing this vision, he said, “A Pain-Free India is not just my dream; it is a collective commitment that we all share.”
Chiropractor & Physiotherapist has been designed to make its subject matter accessible to general readers as well as those interested in the field. The book explores the fundamental concepts of chiropractic care, clinical assessment of patients, spinal health and various aspects of treatment.
Its ten chapters cover a wide range of topics, including care for athletes and people with active lifestyles, precautions for senior citizens, common misconceptions about healthcare, patient education, self-care, clinic management and collaborative approaches to improving patient care.
The book also discusses the RKM, or Rajneesh Kant Method. Dr. Kant presents it as an advanced approach developed through his professional experience. While this first edition focuses on introducing chiropractic care and its practical applications, a future publication is expected to explore his individual techniques in greater detail.
Dr. Kant also shares his perspective on the historical and cultural roots of hands-on healing in India. Referring to the traditional story of Lord Krishna and Kubja, he draws a connection between Indian narratives and the broader concept of improving physical posture. This is his personal interpretation of the traditional account.
The documented history of modern chiropractic care, however, is associated with Daniel David Palmer in the United States. Palmer performed a chiropractic adjustment in 1895 and established the Palmer School and Cure in 1897. By exploring traditional perspectives alongside the history of modern chiropractic practice, the book offers readers an opportunity to understand different viewpoints surrounding hands-on care.
The presence of transgender spiritual leader and Jagadguru Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi Ji added a special dimension to the book launch ceremony. Renowned physiotherapist Professor Dr. Ali Irani also extended his blessings and best wishes to Dr. Rajneesh Kant.
The presence of these distinguished personalities made the occasion even more memorable for Dr. Kant and his team, marking an important milestone in his journey to promote awareness about chiropractic care and his broader vision of a healthier, more informed society.
