Agartala, Tripura, 8th of June, 2025 : With the initiative of State Government of Tripura distribution of Allotment Patta, Administrative Camp and distribution of Agricultural farm implements programme organized at Tufania Lunga Tea Estate J.B. School under Bamutia R.D. Block, Agartala, Tripura on Sunday (8th June, 2025). In the In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the events.

Addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the events Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that As promised, the Government’s goal is the overall development of the people of the State. The Current Government of the State is working in that direction. Because of the work being done in the right direction with transparency, Tripura has today come second among the States of the North Eastern region in terms of per capita income and GST collection. The Chief Minister said that in order to complete the work on time, the development work has been done at a much faster pace in the 7 years of the Current Government than in the last 35 years. Representatives from various States of the country, including Maharashtra, are coming here to gain experience from the development work of the State. The Chief Minister said, along with carrying out development work, the State Government wants the people of the State to no longer have to spend money unnecessarily and go out for treatment.

“The State Government special emphasis has been laid on modernizing the health system. A 100-bed modern eye hospital will be operational in the State within the next few years. He said that since 2022, a Good Governance program is being implemented in every household in the state at a specific time, focusing on the Prime Minister’s birthday. So far, various services have been provided to the people through 4,600 camps under this program.The Chief Minister said that the goal of the Current Government of the state is to fulfill the basic needs of the people. The Current Prime Minister of the country is moving forward with the goal of building a developed India through the development of villages and cities, and work is being done in the state towards that goal.” Chief Minister added.

Regarding blood donation at the event, the Chief Minister said that there is no greater donation than blood donation. She called on the people of the state to come forward more and more to donate blood. The Chief Minister also added that Tripura has also set a record in tree plantation by planting 5 lakh saplings in 5 minutes. He said that the Government is working with a zero tolerance policy to build a drug-free society and state. To rehabilitate the youth addicted to drugs, Government-run drug de-addiction centers have been set up in all 8 districts of the state. Strict action is being taken against those involved in drug trafficking. Referring to the progress of the State in the agricultural sector, the Chief Minister said that the income of farmers in the State, which was Rs 6,580 in 2016, has now increased to Rs 13,590. The Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan has been started so that farmers can move forward further. He said that the state is being regularly awarded by various ministries of the Central Government as the state is moving forward in every field.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Mohanpur Sub-Division Subash Datta delivered a welcome address at the inaugural session of Distribution of Allotment Patta, awareness rally on Nasha Mukti Abhiyan and Blood Donation Camp etc. The Chief Minister handed over a cheque of Rs 15 lakh to the members of a self-help group in Bamutia area. The Chief Minister also handed over land title deeds and various certificates to some tea workers. After the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister started the tree plantation program by planting trees. He also visited the blood donation camp.

Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Acting President of West Tripura Zilla Saha-Sabhadipati Biswajit Shil, Chairman of TTDCLSamir Ranjan Ghosh, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of West Tripura District Megha Jain and many others distinguished dignitaries wee present in the programme. Chairman of Bamutia Panchayat Samiti Dipak Kumar Singh presided over the event.
