Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates Multiple Development Projects In Teliamura.

Teliamura, Tripura 11th of April 2025 : With the initiative of State Government of Tripura inauguration ceremony ceremony organized at Teliamura Motor Stand under Khowai District on Friday (11th April, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated various development projects.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Newly Constructed Teliamura Motor Stand in Netajinagar, Teliamura, at a cost of 4 crore 90 lakhs 58 thousand. The Chief Minister virtually inaugurated the newly constructed school building of Kabi Nazrul Vidya Bhavan H.S. School at a cost of 2 crores, Teliamura English Medium H.S School built at a cost of Rs 4 crores 40 lakhs 43 thousand and Mungiabari H.S. School built at a cost of Rs 4 crores 24 lakhs 8 thousand.

Addressing at the inaugural ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that Tripura is moving towards overall development under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The aim of the Tripura government is to build a better Tripura. Modern synthetic turf football field in Khowai, new building of Sarat Chandra Class XII School, construction building of Asharambari Class H.S School and modern quality laboratory, construction of Zilla Panchayat Resource Center, construction of Maha Crematorium in Teliamura, etc. In addition, construction of a girls’ hostel in Behalabari, modern laboratory in Khowai District Hospital, construction of District Transport Building, District Magistrate’s Quarters, Khowai Subdistrict Magistrate’s Quarters, ADM Quarters, etc. Many projects are being implemented in Khowai district.

“A 100-bed super specialty eye hospital will be built in Agartala. People coming to Agartala from different places of the state are forced to stay overnight in the city for various reasons. Bharat Mata Canteen or Night Passenger Hostel will be set up in Agartala to accommodate their stay and travel arrangements.”, Chief Minister added.

Addressing at the inaugural ceremony Hon’ble Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that in the transport sector, infrastructure construction worth 242 crore rupees is currently underway in the state. This includes the construction of modern motor stands in Jiraniya, Kalyanpur, Vishalgarh, Mohanpur, Melaghar, Jolaibari. Construction of district transport buildings in Khowai, Sepahijala, South Tripura and North Tripura. In addition, new motor stands will be constructed in Manughat and Jatanbari.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Tribal Welfare, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, Statistics Minister Bikash Debbarma, Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Aparna Singha Roy, Member of Teliamura Municipal Council Achintya Bhattacharya, Transport Department Secretary CK Jamatia, School Education Department Director Nripendra Chandra Sharma and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony.
