Kanchanbari, 2nd of July, 2024 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated Newly Constructed Building of Primary Health Centre (PHC) and Veterinary Dispensary at Kanchanbari on Tuesday (2nd July, 2024).
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of PHC and Veterinary Dispensary, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the Government is working to build a health hub in Tripura. That’s why health infrastructure is being poured everywhere. The newly constructed building of Primary Health Center and Ayushman Arogya Mandir has been constructed in Kanchanbari at a cost of 4.5 crore. 82 lakh rupees have been spent on construction of Kanchanbari Veterinary Dispensary and Artificial Insemination (AI) Centre. The new building of Kanchanbari primary health center, more than 29 thousand people of the 11 gram Panchayats and village committees of the region will get better health services from now. New departments have been launched under modern management in the main hospitals of the State, AGMC and GBP Hospitals. Kidney transplant facility will also be introduced in this hospital within a few days.
On this occasion a large number of local people have assembled here in the programme venue. Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble SC Welfare, ARD, Fisheries Minister Sudhangshu Das, Kumarghat Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sumati Das, Zilla Parishad Member Nilkanta Sinha, District Magistrate DK Chakma, Police Superintendent Kanta Jahangir and many other dignitaries were present in the event.
