Agartala, Tripura, 4th of May, 2025 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday (4th May, 2025) inspected various cover drain construction works, water drainage system road construction works of wards 16, 20 and 32 under Agartala Municipal Corporation and was informed about the progress of the work. Chief Minister also visited Agartala Town Hall, construction work of Khetramohan School in Shantipara, work of Howrah River Project and various areas of Ramnagar including Singhapara, RMS Chowmuhani. During the inspection, the Chief Minister also interacted with the local people.

During the visit, interacting with the media Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that Government’s vision is not only to win elections. The welfare of the people is the main goal of this Government. He said that the main purpose of today’s visit is to get to know about the current status of various development works in the city. The Chief Minister said that the officials have been instructed to maintain the quality of the work and coordinate among the concerned departments to complete the work within the specified time.

During the visit, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder, Corporator Ratna Datta, social activist Shyamal Kumar Deb, Secretary of Public Works Department (PWD) Kiran Gitte, Chief Executive Officer of Agartala Smart City Limited Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, West Tripura District Magistrate & Collector Dr. Vishal Kumar along with senior officials of the Public Works Department.
