Chief Minister Of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha Chaired A Review Meeting Of The Task Monitoring System.

Agartala, Tripura, 7th of August, 2025 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired a review meeting of the Task Monitoring System with the senior officials at the Secretariat, Agartala, Tripura on Thursday (7th August, 2025).

“Markets are being set up on the roadsides in various parts of the State. As a result, the traffic system is being damaged and the amount of pollution is increasing. Therefore, necessary measures must be taken against this from the very beginning. In this regard, surveillance is also required to be increased.”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at a review meeting of the Task Monitoring System organized at the Secretariat’s. The Chief Minister discussed recent issues and issued directives for necessary actions, in the presence of senior officials.

Addressing at the meeting Chief Minister said that traffic arrangements for VIPs and movement on the roads should be made keeping in mind the comfort of the common citizens. There is no scope for exaggeration in this regard. Because the main goal of the government is the maximum benefit of the common people. The employees working in various Districts and Subdivisions should come to the office on time and perform their respective duties. In this regard, the secretaries and directors of the concerned departments should take necessary steps. He directed to increase the number of task forces to deal with the problem of garbage, beautification, etc. in the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) area. No obstacle will be tolerated to provide maximum benefits to the people of the state by removing any problem, because the administration will run according to the law.

The Chief Minister emphasized on taking more steps to reach the common people with the various public welfare works of the department. Moreover, the Chief Minister also directed the security administration to take effective action under the zero tolerance policy against all those involved in the cultivation, sale and trafficking of cannabis. Moreover, the meeting discussed in detail the construction of road infrastructure, power system, education, health, traffic congestion problems in various roads of the state, security, banking services and gave necessary suggestions and instructions.

In the meeting, the Secretary of the Information and Culture Department discussed the Har Ghar Tiranga programme. This program will be held in different places of the state in 3 phases till August 15. The Chief Minister said that the Har Ghar Tiranga festival is a symbol of national pride. But all the people of the state along with the administration have to join in celebrating this event and make it a success in the literal sense. Moreover, he also urged everyone to follow the necessary policy guidelines while hoisting the national flag in homes and various offices and courts on the occasion of this event.

The meeting was attended virtually by District Magistrates of all districts of the State and secretaries and directors of various departments.
