Agartala, Tripura, 21st of August, 2026 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today said that concentration is the ladder to success and that the more one studies and remains steadfast towards one’s goal, the more knowledge one will be able to acquire.

“Gaining knowledge in various subjects is the main tool to establish oneself in the current competitive environment,” said the Chief Minister.

Today, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said this while laying the foundation stone and inaugurating various development programmes at PM-Shri A.D. Nagar English Medium School.

At the beginning of the programme, the Chief Minister, along with other guests, laid the foundation stone for various infrastructural development works for Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan, Baradowali XII Class School, Hapania XII Class School and Charipara XII Class School through a central Bhoomi Puja.

He also launched a pilot project for the design of analysis-based interactive virtual classrooms for 240 remote schools in various districts of the state and the digitalisation of land maps in the Agartala Municipal Corporation area under the initiative of the School Education Department.

While addressing the students present at the event, the Chief Minister shared his student-life experiences with them.

The Chief Minister said that the present government is giving utmost importance to the quality of education and health, as well as infrastructure development in the state.

The Chief Minister said that students are the future.

“Therefore, the government’s goal is to provide them with all kinds of facilities and security after they come to school. For this purpose, the concerned department has been instructed to collect the latest information about boundary walls, drinking water facilities, seating benches, mid-day meals and toilets in every  school in the state,” he said.

Dr. Saha said that after collecting the information, effective steps will be taken to solve the problems of the schools.

“The goal has been set to develop Baradowali Higher Secondary School as a model school in the future. He said that the main purpose of organising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s exam practice programme is to ensure that students do not suffer from fatigue due to exam pressure. Overcoming fatigue and moving towards one’s success is an indication of a strong mindset and confidence. And those who can acquire this strong mindset and confidence will move forward in the future,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that if students pay attention to the teaching provided by teachers in the classroom and make their own efforts, there is no need for separate tuition.

He told the parents that they should focus on developing their children as good human beings instead of engaging them in the competition for getting high marks.

The Chief Minister said that virtual classrooms have been started in 240 schools in the state today.

“As a result, students from remote areas will be able to take lessons in Maths, Science and English from city teachers through live classes. Teachers will take these classes from a centrally established studio. In this case, the classes will be two-way, meaning students will be able to ask questions if necessary,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that this initiative has been taken to ensure that students from remote areas do not stop their studies. As a result, about 40,000 students will benefit.

Regarding the mapping programme, the Chief Minister said that, as a result, land can be measured at the micro level.

“This is a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is currently being launched as a pilot project in the Agartala Municipal Corporation area. This programme will make it possible to remove the complexity of land measurement by using various modern methods,” he said.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Secretary of the Urban Development Department Milind Ramteke, Director of the Education Department Dr. Samit Roy Chowdhury, Corporator Alok Roy, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation and MLA Dipak Majumdar, MLA Meena Rani Sarkar and many other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event.
