Chief Minister Of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha Visits Child Care Unit In Abhoynagar.

Agartala, Tripura, 18th of September, 2026 : As part of celebrating Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday (17th September, 2026) visited the Child Care Unit at Abhoynagar. He was accompanied by Hon’ble Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy, special secretary and director of the department Kuntal Das and L. Ranchal respectively during the visit.

During the visit the Chief Minister said the State Government aims to make the children and students housed under the unit established in life. He advised the officials of the department to encourage the students to participate more and more in music, Yoja etc. activities, alongside studies. The Chief Minister told the inmates of the Child Care Unit not to consider themselves alone in the world, the state government stands by them. He said, men stand by other men. If this kind of thinking prevails, the society will become beautiful and livable.

The Chief Minister also instructed the officials in charge of looking after the children and students to treat them sincerely and as their own. He said, from today starts the state-wide Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to mark the celebration of Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service as Prime Minister and before that as Chief Minister of Gujarat. As part of this campaign Seva Divas is being observed today. The Chief Minister also informed that students from the state, after completing GNM, ANM,, Nursing etc. courses have found employment in different organizations of the state and the country. The students presented a cultural programme and Yoga session. In the end the Chief Minister handed over some gifts to the children and students and wished them a bright future.
