Chief Minister’s Annual State Award For Academic Excellence’ Among Meritorious Students Under TBSE & CBSE.

Agartala, Tripura, 26th of August 2025 : Agartala, Tripura, 26th of August 2025 : With the initiative of Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura organized Chief Minister’s Annual State Award for Academic Excellence’ among meritorious students Under TBSE & CBSE programme at  Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala, Tripura on Tuesday (26th August, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Addressing at the award giving ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that Education takes people from ignorance to the light of knowledge. Besides, the development of inner strength happens through education. The State Government is also working by various development projects to provide quality education to the students of the State. The educational infrastructure of the State has also been extensively developed. As a result, the students of the state are able to get higher education in the State itself. The Chief Minister said to the students, to achieve your goals, you have to dream. You have to remember that the key to fulfilling your dreams lies within yourself. Therefore, success can only be achieved through patience, concentration, hard work, and real education.

Highlighting the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Saha remarked that the main purpose of giving this award is to encourage the students. To develop students as real human beings, they need to be educated in real education. In this case, relying only on textbook education will not work. Real education will be fruitful if we come forward to stand by the people. He said that the Prime Minister often says that youth power is one of the country’s assets. The country’s development is possible only if youth power can be developed through real education. The Chief Minister said that there is no dearth of talent among the studetns of our State. We need the right plan to provide them with real education. The State Government is working in that direction.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were School Education Department Director Nripendra Chandra Sharma, Raval Hamendra Kumar, Special Secretary of Education (School) Department, Director of  SCERT L Darlong and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony. According to sources Tabs distributed to 228 students in the Chief Minister’s Annual State Award for Academic Excellence’  to the top scoring students of various schools in this year’s under TBSE & CBSE. On the stage of the event, the Chief Minister symbolically handed over the tabs and certificates to five students.
