Ampi, 6th of June 2024 : To maintain as their daily routine search police personnel of Churaibari have seized huge quantity of dry ganja worth about half crore today. Sensing the critical situation vehicle driver has escaped from the spot. The police personnel have started investigation to arrest this fugitive driver. After many days, a large quantity of ganja was seized by the Churaibari police authority. The police personnel have confirmed that the smuggling Ganja has been uploaded from the capital of Tripura for the state of Bihar but at Naka Point of Churaibari Police Station the vehicle was caught.
As per the police personnel, by eight o’clock from Agartala WB73D-5911 of AFC transport a ten wheeler vehicle has arrived at Churaibari Naka for going to other state. At that time OC Samaresh Das and other officers of the Churaibari Naka point were on duty have searched the 12 wheelers and detected a large quantity of dry Ganja just behind the driver seat in a secret cabin. The market value of the recovered Ganja is approximately fifty lakh rupees said the division Police officer Debashish Saha.
