New Delhi, Delhi, 26th of November, 2025 : On the occasion of the Constitution Day, observed nationwide on 26th November, officials of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) took part in a ceremonial observance held at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). This year nation celebrates 75 years of Constitution. The event was presided over by Smt. Smita Vats Sharma, Director General, PIB, along with Dr. Pragya Paliwal Gaur, Vice Chancellor, Indian Institute of mass Communication (IIMC).

As part of the ceremony, officials collectively recited the Preamble to the Constitution of India, affirming their commitment to uphold its values. The ceremony began with the words:
“WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens…”

The observance highlighted the spirit of constitutional responsibility, civic duty and national unity among media and communication professionals present at the festival.
The ceremony concluded with all participants chanting the patriotic slogan “Jai Hind,” echoing the nation’s enduring respect for the Constitution and its guiding principles.
