Core Competency Based Trainings Under TRESP Begins At SIPARD.

Agartala, Tripura, 22nd of May, 2025 : In line with Project Implementation Plan (PIP) of World Bank Funded Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP), The State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD) organised a core competency based training .The training was on Office Procedure & File Management and it was a three days duration programme .The training commenced at SIPARD campus situated at Arundhuti Nagar, West Tripura.

As many as 29 officials from 23 TRESP blocks has participated the programme.The programme was started on 19th May and closed on 21st may .Two nos. Sr.officials of the State government, faculties of SIPARD and Training Specialist, Training Manager SIPARD ,TRESP were involved in managing the training Programme. It was conducted on pilot basis and the course module has been approved by the world Bank .Dr.Sudakkhina Mitra ,Course Director of the programme,Dr.Rajib Malakar , Assistant Professor,SIPARD and Abdur Rahman Chowdhury,Training Specialist have distributed the training certificates among the qualifying candidates.

SIPARD has received good feedback from the participants and the training programme,infect will be helpful to the officials in doing their office works in the fastest possible way .The Course module comprised of practice session on official noting and drafting, file note preparation ,manual filing process ,memorandum preparation,office orders ,Demy official letter ,official letters for leave ,medical letters,training letters , sanction memo etc. The major discussion was around Tripura service conduct rules , Central civil service (CCS) conduct rules ,introduction to E-office procedure,office etiquette,basic protocols related to different types of letters in order to aware the employees about govt.machinery , different layers of approval, financial powers of the officers in case of recurring and non-recurring expenses etc. as well as procurement.This kind of initiative of SIPARD will benefit the officials in accomplishing the day to day official activities in a greater extent.

The project Director TRESP ,Subhasis Das has approved the Annual Action Plan on time and thus it enables SIPARD to plan and organise such a need based training for block and PIU level officials .World Bank has approved 4 training modules and SIPARD is going to organise these training programme on continuous basis so as to strengthen the functional capacity of the officials of ADC area that would definitely capacitate the service delivery proces in Tribal areas .
