The State Assembly Election on 16th February 2023 were announced yesterday. The activities of various political parties across the State have increased significantly soon after the announcement. A door-to-door campaign programme was organized in Chankhla area of Kalyanpur Pramodnagar Assembly Constituency today (19th January, 2023) by the initiative of the CPI(M) party to call for the victory of the Left Front nominated CPI(M) candidate in the upcoming assembly election.
CPI(M) leader Subhash Nath claimed that before coming to power, the present Government had made false promises to all the people of the society, from students, youth, farmers but during this period the Government failed to fulfill the promises. Common people from different sections of the society were observed in this door to door programme of the Left in Chankhla area of South Ghilatali in the morning.
