Amarpur, Tripura, 9th of November 2025 : With the initiative of Young Darlong Association & Darlong Hnam Inzom Darlong Thalai Kutpui cum DHI Workers’ Conferrence 2025 has been organized here in Geetanjali Auditorium Hall in Kumarghat with great enthusiasm and festive fervour.

In presence of many Darlong dignitaries of the event the chief guest TLM 50 pabiacherra constituency MLA Bhagaban Das has inaugurated the festival. Following the theme, ‘Rise and work to build the community’ the programme has emphasized over many issues related to Darlong community. It was a combined event of the youth festival and workers’ conference of the Darlong community. Targeting to motivate the youth generation the over Darlong cultural assets the programme dignitaries have focussed over the necessity of promotion and preservation of Darlong heritage and culture as well as the development of the community. Amidst the 19 indigenous tribes and communities of Tripura Darlong is one which has a unique traditional culture and heritage inherited from their ancestors.

A grand discussion over the issues of traditional heritage, culture, attires, education, religious faith, social prosperity and communal fraternity, harmony and integration community society leaders have expressed their views respectively. Maintaining social peace and prosperity tips was an inspiring portion of the event. To constitute the event more beautiful the concerned organizer has added some additional cultural segments of the Darlong community and given a motivational ideal message all to promote and protect Darlong traditional cultural assets.

Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Thlengliana Darlong, Ex.Sr. divisional manager, LIC, Lalnunnemi Darlong, TCS, SSG, director SCERT, Tinkhuma Darlong, DHI president, society leader, Esther Lalneikimi Darlong, DHI, digital strategist and many others remained present in this colourful event.
