Agartala, Tripura, 9th of April, 2026 : The 13 Tripura Battalion NCC successfully continued the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-33) on 09 April 2026, under the leadership of the Camp Commandant, Col Navpreet Singh Baath.

The day commenced with morning Physical Training (PT), where cadets actively participated in exercises aimed at improving stamina, endurance, and overall fitness, fostering discipline and team spirit.
Following PT and breakfast, the day’s formal proceedings began with an Opening Address by the Camp Commandant, Col Navpreet Singh Baath, who motivated the cadets to uphold the core values of the NCC—discipline, unity, and dedication—and encouraged them to make the most of the training opportunities provided during the camp.

A Group Photograph session was also conducted, capturing the spirit of unity and enthusiasm among the cadets and staff participating in CATC-33.
As part of the training schedule, cadets actively participated in the Service Shooting Programme, undertaking practical firing sessions under expert supervision. The activity focused on enhancing confidence, accuracy, and safe weapon handling skills.
Cadets also attended theoretical and instructional sessions conducted by ANOs and training staff, focusing on core NCC subjects, discipline, and personality development.

A special Motivational Lecture was delivered by Mukta Debnath of the Tripura Kickboxing Association. She shared her inspiring achievements, including winning Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the WAKO World Cup Diamond Kickboxing 2019 in Russia, and emphasized the importance of self-defense and empowerment, especially for women. Her association with Tripura Police in promoting awareness added great value to the session.
An important POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) lecture was delivered by Dr Sristhi Gupta. The session focused on legal awareness, personal safety, and social responsibility, sensitizing cadets on crucial societal issues.

After the lunch break and rest (OTW), the afternoon session resumed with continued training activities. Cadets remained enthusiastic and actively engaged throughout the day.
A tea break provided refreshment before the evening routine. The day concluded with roll call and dinner, maintaining proper discipline and camp routine.

Overall, Day 2 of CATC-33 was conducted successfully with a balanced blend of physical training, service shooting, motivational guidance, and awareness sessions, contributing significantly to the holistic development of the cadets.
