Day 5 of EBSB Camp at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hostel, Agartala.

Agartala, Tripura, 20th of December, 2024 : The vibrant Day 5 of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) camp, conducted by the 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, unfolded with a formal program held at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hostel, Agartala. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries and enthusiastic cadets from the North Eastern Region (NER).

Anchoring and Felicitation

The program commenced under the able anchorship of Lt. Dr. Jekap Halam, who set the tone for the day with his dynamic presence. The cadets of NER gracefully facilitated the felicitation of the Chief Guest and distinguished dignitaries, marking the start of the ceremonial proceedings.

Welcome Note

Brig. Kapil Sood, Group Commander, Silchar Group, extended a warm welcome to the gathering with his inspiring address. His speech reflected the spirit of unity, cultural exchange, and patriotism that defines the ethos of the EBSB initiative.

Key Speeches

The Chief Guest, Lt. Gen. Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking speech. He highlighted the critical role of NCC and its cadets in fostering national integration and building future leaders. His words resonated deeply with the cadets and dignitaries alike.

Other notable guests included Major General Suresh Bhambhu, SM, IG AR, and Brig. Manish Rana, SM, who graced the occasion with their presence, along with the Commanding Officer of the 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, Col. C. Rajashekhar, whose leadership ensured the camp’s success.

Mementos and Interaction

As a token of gratitude, Brig. Kapil Sood presented a memento to the Chief Guest, Lt. Gen. Vikas Lakhera, who reciprocated the gesture by presenting a memento to Brig. Kapil Sood. These exchanges symbolized the mutual respect and camaraderie shared by the NCC and the Armed Forces.
